Ted T. Ellis of the DU Class of 1986, art ambassador for the National Juneteenth Organization has been selected to showcase ten of his historical paintings from his Juneteenth Freedom Project Series at the U.S. Capitol Russell Rotunda in Washington, DC. June 15-19th, 2015. This acknowledges the historical importance of the art of T. Ellis. The Russell Rotunda is in the Richard Russell Senate Building located at 2 Constitution Avenue, Washington, DC 20009. This exhibition was supported by Senator John Cornyn and his staff from the State of Texas.

Dillard University Alumna Crystal Smith-McDonald wins $100,000 investment from AOL

CrystalCrystal McDonald of the Class of 2004 recently won a $100,000 investment from AOL for her company Go To Interview. She won after competing with seven other New Orleans based entrepreneurs.

DUNAA invites all alumni who live in the greater New Orleans area, coming in town for reunion, or who may be visiting New Orleans for the weekend to attend our spring national meeting this Friday, May 8, 2015 at 3:30pm in the PSB Building.
Come and receive updates from the DU National Alumni Association Executive Board. Learn how you can become an active member and support our “Fair Dillard.”
Additionally, the newly elected DUNAA executive board will be sworn in at the meeting and presented to the DU Alumni Family for the first time. Come and join a growing movement of alumni supporting and serving Dillard University while having fun.

It is back!! The Dillard University National Alumni Association “White Linen Midnight Breakfast Party” will be this Friday, May 8, 2015 on the second floor of Kearny Hall. The event will include chicken & waffles, fish, an open bar and music provided by our very own alumnus DJ. Raj Smoove. Come out and party with the DU Family!!  Tickets are $35 pre sale and $45 at the door. Pre sale tickets will be sold at the Dillard University National Alumni Association Meeting on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 3:30pm to 5:00pm! All money raised will go to the DUNAA Scholarship Fund.
